Full Stack Developer

Volt Athletics is seeking a software developer with production experience in 2+ layers of the web application stack. This person will work alongside other experienced developers to create well-designed, robust and performant software for consumer facing web and mobile applications. This person will be an integral part of a small product development team, with considerable opportunity for professional growth and to make a real and lasting contribution to the success of the company.

The technology stack utilizes Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, React Native, Postgres, and Redis, as well as many other technologies. The ideal candidate has 3+ years experience with Ruby and JavaScript in a professional setting. Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, AngularJS and/or React Native is a huge plus. Experience with Git, AWS, Heroku and automated testing techniques is nice to have.

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business needs is critical. All candidates must have strong communication skills. An interest in sports and fitness is helpful.

Team Sales Specialist

Volt Athletics is seeking a Team Sales Specialist (Coach Relations Specialist), a key member of the Coach Relations team responsible for driving revenue through new accounts at high school and college athletic departments. We deliver proven strength and conditioning programming through cutting-edge technology, so a passion for helping athletes and teams reach their full potential is a must. We are looking for a competitive and driven individual to join this vibrant team who fits with our energetic and fun work culture, believes in our mission, is able to learn and adapt on the fly, can take on additional responsibility outside of the primary role and is passionate to work hard and help build a company that is changing an industry.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Market Development:

  • Timely and impactful response to potential clients who have expressed interest or requested additional information.
  • Ensure KPI's are reached that assure revenue and profitability growth.
  • Develop and maintain personal relationships with key client decision makers and influencers.

Internal Communication:

  • Coordinate client care with other members of the Coach Relations team.
  • Provide timely feedback to other company functions including marketing/communications and development.

Qualifications for the Job

Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, communications or sports management. Strong preference for applicants with collegiate level or higher athletic experience.

Minimum 3 years experience in sales or account management.

Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Team Sales Specialist. This includes communication via phone, email and social media. Also requires demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation solutions (e.g. Microsoft Office). Experience with CRM considered a plus.
